What do you wear? Follow trends or just wear whatever you want?

I don't follow trends at all, I wear what I want. Well... what I want that I /have/, lol. I really like wearing dresses over jeans... usually ones that I've written all over and jackets.... usually black or grey.
I have this one wicked pair of pants there are khaki and they start out kind of tight fitting but flare out a lot and they have camouflage down the sides.... ja, haha.

That's a good question. I mean, I really don't know how I'd describe my style in just a few words... So "just a few words" is NOT what you're gonna get, here. I don't follow trends. I don't even follow countertrends. (By that I mean, like, counterculturish styles--hippy, punk/goth/emo, etc.--that are meant to draw attention to the fact that the wearer isn't interested in trends, popularity, mainstream culture, and so forth. But instead they just end up conforming again... *sigh*) One of the teachers at my high school (a middle-aged male ) gave me his unsolicited opinion that I had a very original but classy style. (Um, thanks?) That was my school-going style, though, which was frequently--or at least that day--"cleaner" than my at-home style. Although I have in the past worn muddy pants to school. Nobody looked twice. I buy many of my clothes second-hand and then I wear them into the ground. I wear really plain articles. I don't like to adorn myself: no jewelry, no noticeable makeup, no designs on my shirts, very few patterns. I feel cluttered when I wear that sort of thing. I also don't show a lot of skin. But I don't like to hide my figure, either. But I refuse to wear uncomfortable clothes! Usually I wear something snug on top and loose on the bottom as a compromise between comfort and looks. Very often I wear contrasting styles together: a flouncy skirt, leggings, and bright knee socks with rugged, grungy hiking boots; a thin little figure-hugging top with honest-to-God men's cargo pants. Usually I wear either hiking boots or sneakers; I don't wear many girly shoes. I dress to run around outside, to some extent. Can't think of anything else to add. I have a sense of style--I like this, I don't like that, this is "me," that isn't "me," I wouldn't be caught dead in that, etc--but it's... just... hard to put my finger on it. I try to wear clothes that make me look good, is all. And don't make me look cluttered. ^_^ So, well, there you go, I guess.

Um, I'm not your typical pageant queen. How's that? Well, let me elaborate: I am into wearing evening gowns and party dresses when the need be, but other than that, I'm not very girly-girl. I tend to wear jeans ALL THE TIME, preferrably black or dark denim, with favorite band t-shirts. The shirts I wear can be relaxed-fit, or snug, depending on my mood. I almost always have Converse sneakers on my feet, unless, in very rare instances, I decide to wear something other than a band T, like a cute girly top. Then I wear heels. (I must admit, I have some really cute pairs of heels. Maybe I should wear them more often.) As for makeup, I go for the subtle smoky cat eye most days. My makeup ends up looking like a tamed version of Bill's fierce eyes. ^_^* Oh, and the only jewelry I ever wear is my diamond pendant (its a single 1ct stone on a simple chain) and my rings. (I'm obsessed with rings, all shapes and sizes. ) Come to think of it, I dont have a Tokio Hotel shirt in my collection yet... *runs off in search of TH t-shirt*
